APR Director simplifies opening ArcView projects after the locations of important files have changed. APR Director also makes it much easier to share ArcView projects between computers. Opening a recently used project is effortless using the recently opened projects feature.

Opening a project with APR Director means that you only need to point to the new location of a file once. APR Director checks previously specified locations before asking you where subsequent missing files are located. As it processes the project file, it continually builds a list of places to look before seeking assistance.

APR Director can even automatically search your computer or network to find a missing file. It lets you pick the version of a file you want to use if it finds more than one instance of the same file name.

Once an ArcView project file is processed by APR Director, the project immediately opens in ArcView.
